48 Hour or 3-10 Day Expedited Passport Processing

Requirements To Expedite A New U.S. Passport For MINORS (Under 14 years of age)

Step 1: Documents You Will Need

Make sure all tasks are completed:Certified birth certificate or U.S. Citizenship/Naturalization certificate (You may contact your local state officials if you have lost your birth certificate. You may also contact the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) at National Division of Data Services, Hyattsville, MD 20782-2003, Phone: (301) 458-4636, website).
Two new passport photos (service available at Costa Mesa Live Scan)
Completed passport application DS-11
You must click on the CREATE FORM button at the bottom of the page to generate a printable PDF version of the completed application. Print two copies of the application (photocopies are not accepted)
In addition, for those who have LOST a valid passport, complete Passport Application Form DSP-64
Your proof of departure date (copy of itinerary or ticket or a letter on company letterhead stating departure date, length of stay and/or purpose of travel)
$140 check payable to U.S. Department of State and $25 for the Passport Office

Step 2: What You Do

Make sure all task(s) are completed if applicable:Take the items to an authorized post office (list of location(s) available here - make sure you scroll for "Passport Application Services") and ask them to endorse the documents and SEAL them in an envelope marked "TO BE OPENED BY PASSPORT OFFICE PERSONNEL ONLY". You must present proof of identity such as driver's license (which has been issued for at least six months).
Minors: All minors must appear in person at the post office or the courthouse. Minors (under the age of 14) must be accompanied by BOTH PARENTS or legal guardian with acceptable proof of identification. If only one parent appears the other parent must sign and notarize a Statement of Consent Form DS-3053 (we provide notary service)

Step 3: What You Do

After completing the above steps you must either overnight or hand carry/deliver to Costa Mesa Live Scan your:Sealed envelope(s)
Copy of your passport application
Copy of your signed letter of authorization
Copy of your travel itinerary
We must present the envelope(s) to the passport office within five working days from execution

Final Step: What We Do

Signed letter of authorization (two copies for each applicant) to allow our servicing agent to process your passport application on your behalf.
Once we have all your documents in hand we will submit your application to the passport agency for expedited processing
